East African Civil aviation authority held a two day workshop for training Staff of EACAA from the 30th June to 1st July 2017. The training was held at AKELLO Hotel, in Soroti. The main purpose of the training was to help the Staff of EACAA have a clear understanding and have knowledge about procurement procedures and Legal Framework....

The Minister for Affairs of East African Community Hon. accampained with Permanent Secretary have visited the Academy, They were received by the Director Mr. Lodiong J. Ronald and walked through the Academy premises to familiarise with the operations at the Academy. Hon. thanked and encouraged the management for the good work done so far

Position:Principal Flying Instructor



To conduct professional flight and ground instructions of Cadet Pilots and manage the assets and resources of the Academy.

  • Participates in the designing and developing training programmes of Instruction in the Flying School;
  • Approving course content;
  • Instructing pilot students;
  • Ensure availability and operation of aircraft and other training equipment for the Flying School;
  • Assisting the Chief Flying Instructor in designing and developing programs or instructions;
  • Supervising and controlling Senior Flying Instructors;
  • Supervising local training programs;
  • Set and review examinations for the flying school;
  • Evaluate/check students for progression;
  • Participate in assessment of students for enrolment into flying school; and
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor;
